Heather Schnell Simpson

July 23, 1948 — February 28, 2024

Heather Schnell Simpson left this earthly home to join her husband, mother, father and brothers on February 28, 2024. Heather was born in Cranbrook to Martin J. and Elizabeth Ailsa Schnell on July 23, 1948. She was the only girl in a family of five children. Heather met and married the love of her life Winston Noble Simpson in 1971. Together they had their only son James Noble Simpson in 1974.

Heather was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Allan, Gordon, Howie, Calvin, her in-laws Blanchard and Ena Simpson, and brother-in-law Maynard Simpson.

Those left behind to grieve are her son James, grandchildren Austin, Dylan, Alyssa and Jayden, sister-in-law Kathy Schnell, sister-in-law Gail Van Berlow as well as many nieces, nephews and friends that loved her.

We will be holding a celebration of Heather’s life on her birthday July 23, 2024.
